WHY CHOOSE A TIPI?
WORD ORIGIN – TIPI means: ‘Used to live in’
originates from the Lakota language: TI – meaning ‘to dwell or live’; PI – meaning, ‘used for’.
For us, it is a real joy to make and supply tipis; the response from our clients is inspiring and always positive. Tipis it would seem, have their very own magic, unique, and yet experienced by all alike. There is something greater than just the space, height and comfort of the structure; and something beyond the beautiful and timeless form.
They help us reconnect with the earth, the stars, ourselves and our fellow human beings. They can remind us, inform us and bring us together, face to face and shoulder to shoulder. They can shelter us safely from the worst of winter weather and help us breathe in the best of summer.
In Practical terms, as a spacious, tough and transportable Earth-friendly outdoor shelter the tipi is hard to beat. Within its ingenious design and construction lay the strength, beauty and harmony of the native peoples for whom it was a dwelling for generations.
Tipis were lived in year-round and have the capacity to endure beyond many other types of shelter, providing comfortable living and sleeping for whole families. And when pitched and cared for correctly, a tipi can be secure, warm and inspiring in the worst and best of our weather conditions, and will last many years.

We love to sell our tipis, each one is made with care and we never forget a tipi we’ve sold or the people who now own it.
Buying is easy, usually we ask for a 40% deposit then arrange a delivery date, and a balance payment on delivery.
9.9 times out of 10 we are on site delivering, pitching and showing you how to use your tipi, we can answer any questions you may have, and help you understand how to pitch it well.
Due to the seasonal nature of our business and work, it is advisable to consider ordering earlier on in the year, even if delivery is not need until later in the spring or early summer time.

New tipis are made to order
please allow on average, for 2-3 weeks for making and delivery. We often carry one or two tipis of different size in stock if you are in a mad hurry to purchase or just late ordering.

Second hand/near new
We often have used tipis for sale, they are usually in close to new condition and can be hundreds of pounds off new prices. Winter is best time to enquire for used tipis, as we like to sell off our summer lodges and make new for the following year.
