What do you get when booking a festival tipi?
Packages differ slightly according to each Festival and promoter, usually the tipis are pitched in a very convienient location on the festival site, they are fenced off with wrist-banded entrance and secure. They have their own toilets and showers and access to VIP extras.
It is usually cleaner, quieter, less muddy and you can’t trip over a tipi guy rope…
Our festival tipis are pitched with fitted groundsheet, carpet or coir matting, and if the weather looks dodgy we put up a rain hat to help keep you cosy and dry inside.
We try and get the best spot for pitching when we arrive so the tipis are as best placed as possible, all you have to do is just turn up, you’ll get greeted by a welcoming crew & shown to your tipi (they even carry bags if you ask nicely) move in and start the party. And when it’s all over, just wake up and leave, and hopefully find your way home…
What’s it like in the Tipi camping area?
It is fair to say that it is usually the nicest camping on site. It is often a different world in the tipi area, the space, the structures and the friendly nature of the people staying in them make the chaos of mainsite camping look like a trial of some considerable size. On the whole the tipi area is much, much quieter than the main camp sites. On decent festival sites where fires are allowed the ambiance at night is really something special.

Polite request!
People are people, festivals can be… amongst other things, a time for letting it all hang out, so to speak. Please respect our tipis if you should hire one, they are all made by our family with hard work and love. And whilst our job is pretty tough with pitching, breaking down and moving everything, it is made even harder by having to spend lots of time cleaning up after people.
Sadly, the common prevailing blight at festivals is the inability of what one might expect to be, “resonably-conscious-humans”, to clean up after themselves. Litter and pollution at festivals is a hideous problem, please be pro-active in your actions, don’t litter the festival site and please don’t litter our tipis.
Likewise, graffitti may be cool on a wall “Banksy”, but leave our tipis out of it!!
